Finding out that this couple met in high school and did cross country together made me so happy to hear because I also married my high school sweetheart! They both had so much love for each other. You could just see it the whole day as he helped her get in and out of her heels, and in and out of the golf cart.
We arrived at the Red Hawk Golf Club on one of the hottest heat waves to come across Las Cruces, New Mexico so far this year. Luckily the bride and bridal party had a well air conditioned room to get ready in. Lots of lace, beautiful gowns and heels surrounded the room as well as their contagious laughter and smiles. Grandma came in to give Ashley a blessing before the ceremony started. It was the sweetest thing ever.
The ceremony was lined with white chairs, a wedding arch and a view of the pond with the New Mexico desert and mountains in the distance. Patrick had the such a sweet reaction to seeing Ashley as she walked down the isle. It was such a sweet moment to witness and capture.
I can’t even begin to describe the amazing and fun bridal party from that day. They were all so awesome in that heat, and putting up with me during the bridal shots. They made us forget we were working, and how hot it actually was out there.
I love how I felt like I was family at the end of their wedding day, not just the photographer. I can’t wait to capture many more memories for the amazing couple who is also expecting a precious baby girl!
